NY1’s Inside City Hall: Advocates Debate State’s Scaffold Law

NY1 VIDEO: Inside City Hall’s Errol Louis hosted a debate on the merits of the 100-year-old Scaffold Law, which applies to labor regulations, with the Rev. Jacques DeGraff, senior vice president of 100 Black Men and co-chairman for the Alliance for Minority and Women Construction Businesses, who wants to see the law changed, and Paul Fernandes, chief of staff for the Building and Construction Trades Council of Greater New York, whose organization opposes changes to the law.
